HOCO 22

We kicked off our fun homecoming week on Sunday! We had the senior class over for homemade ice cream and they painted their cars with chalk paint to kick off homecoming week. I love that Mary Dalton‘s class can find fun no matter where they are! They are so much fun and I’m so grateful she has such a good friend group!

We set everything up on the porch and did four different turns of homemade ice cream…

After they ate, the girls started decorating while the boys played football

Last homecoming for our girl!

Monday was twin day, and Whitney and Mary Dalton were the twins from the movie the parent trap. We also learned on Monday that we were probably going to be in the path of hurricane Ian.

Sweet Ford comes to see me every day after school and it is the highlight of my day!

Deiana  and I went and the easiest thing ever to twin… Complete black! She has been so much fun to work with this year!

On Tuesday I got one picture before Mary Dalton checked out to go to the doctor… She was not feeling well and we wanted to be sure she wasn’t contagious!!! Jackson was a Tbird but I didn’t get a picture…

we had to move our homecoming best activities to Wednesday so that became spirit day. I was off campus on a zoom meeting but Jackson‘s class brought a fryer and did funnel cakes and chicken strips for all of the high school. Homecoming thing was circus so it was super cute and more than appropriate!!

I made it back in campus and time for pep rally and Mary Dalton and Jackson had the cutest little jags sitting with them

Class chants  are a tradition at our school and these guys love it!!!

It was a short homecoming week but definitely jampacked! School was canceled on Friday and most of the upper schoolers took Thursday  off too! They had a get together after homecoming and Mary Dalton said it was more fun than prom! Senior year is definitely taking along but she is loving it and making so many memories!
