October Stuff

Gosh! I’m so behind on blogging! This month has flown by and we are already well into November.
We celebrated 50 days of school in October with K5 and a sock hop with Coke floats.

Mary Dalton loves Baylon! He actually asked her today to be his other buddy. It made her day!

The fair was in town and the girls had a photo shoot for work there. The pictures for precious!

Our kids find every reason to go out of town every weekend. They are so ready to be in college! Mary Dalton loves going to Athens and staying with Annie.

We had youth leadership last month and we visited one of the local kaolin mines.

it was such a fun day!

‘I do my best to cherish each day with these two!!!

The kids were so excited when they saw Mike. He was cooking burgers for everyone. He is the sweetest soul and we love him so much!

We ended the day at a local pumpkin patch and my children informed me they have never been to a real pumpkin patch. Of all the things I did with them how did I miss that?!

It was a beautiful day and so much fun!

Jackson sent me a text while Dalton and I were at dinner one night and told me he was 99% sure he broke his foot.

He took himself to the pediatrician and then she sent him to the emergency room for an x-ray. I met him there and they told us there was a fracture and sent us to the ortho. He also has a torn ligament and is in a brace for three weeks. We go back next week to see what the next step is. He has been a trooper and has hardly even mentioned it. He is the best patient!!!

Almost every single night you can find these two in our bed. I honestly think this is what I will miss most when they graduate. Just a simple regular day things that I love so much. They have their fair share of disagreements, but 90% of the time they are best friends and 100% of the time they have each other‘s back.

The weather in October was absolutely beautiful! I took full advantage of the pretty days!

Mary Dalton is still babysitting and working at the boutique… She is saving her money for Black Friday!

And just like that another month is over! The kids are in Athens this weekend and Dalton is hunting. I’m going to do my best to decorate for Christmas tomorrow. We have a busy night ahead and I want to enjoy our holiday season!
