Christmas is six days away! We have been busy this month and have enjoyed lots of fun and festive things!
The seniors had tacky Christmas sweater day. This is such a fun class! They are always willing to dress up and have a good time!
Big D was in Louisville and he stopped by the school and brought us all our favorite snack! We were so happy to see him… And grateful for a snack!
We went to Mary Charles’s Christmas recital. She was absolutely precious! Mary Dalton is going to miss them so much next year!!
before exams, the seniors had polar Xpress day in the room. They wore their pajamas, brought sleeping bags, watch the movie and drink hot chocolate. They absolutely loved it!!
we have not made Christmas cookies as a family yet. With Mary Dalton working, exams, Dalton‘s court schedule, etc. we just haven’t had time. Jackson took it upon himself to make some last week and they were so good!
Mary Dalton gave Claxton this little headband for Christmas and she wore it the next day. She is just the cutest little thing and was so proud of it!
We did find time to go to the Wrens Christmas parade. It’s always an adventure! They change the route this year and the parade went right by the law office.
Dalton rolled his office chair into the street and watched from there. We were cracking up!
He then felt the need to take me to some random barbecue place. This was the inside of the restaurant. I have no clue how the health department does not shut them down. There’s literally a sawdust floor! It was good but I have no desire to go back anytime soon. Definitely an adventure!
Ellie and Mary Dalton adopted a needy family for Christmas and went and bought their gifts. These two girls had the best time over the course of a week gathering all the stuff and then wrapping everything. They delivered it on Saturday and they said the mother was so appreciative. I love these two girls so much!
Dalton has Jackson trapping beavers! He’s the cutest thing to me! That boy will forever have my heart.
I had all of my teacher friends over last week and my three closest girlfriends came over another night. Obviously we had a good time because I had a picture Ford came to pick up Lisa and was so excited to see buddy Jackson
My best friends in Naches page and JJ sent me this last night. My sweet mama had a silo in their Christmas program. Hearing her saying silent night made my whole Christmas season! She is hands-down the sweetest little Nana in the world. We are so thankful she is ours!
Last night, Mary Dalton had over her girlfriends for a gift exchange and a sleepover. I have to filter so much and we loved having them!
Christmas definitely looks different with teenage children but our absolutely love it! We have had such a good month and have enjoyed each other. I am looking forward to two weeks home with my family!
