Florida Trip

Our high school trip was the first week of May. Neither of my kids were super excited about this trip, bu t I wanted them to go since it was MD’s last one with me and Jackson. We left EARLY on Tuesday and headed to St Augustine!

After our lunch, we did a trolly tour of the city. The weather was PERFECT!!! It was so pretty!!!

We toured the alligator farm. We have been in years and it was much nicer than I remember! All of the kids  loved this!

This was worth all $24 of my money. MD was FREAKING out about this gator while Lydia casually holds a snake.

She got it together for the photo though!

We went back downtown before we had dinner and found the cutest little duck place! It had AC and plenty of places to take pics so these girls were excited!

We had dinner and then went on a ghost tour. We were so tired! We spent night 1 in St Augustine.
We left EARLY Wednesday morning to head to Tampa to go to Busch Gardens. MD became fast friends with Toni Lynn because she had the best snacks! I had such great parents on this trip!!! They were SO much fun to be with!

Ready for a fun day with my babies!

MD was channeling her inner Bulldawg!

That night we got back to the hotel around 6:30, we had dinner at the Tiki Bar by the pool, the kids swam and then all the girls piled in my bed. I LOVE doing trips with my students for this reason. You really get to know the kids so much more when you are outside the classroom.

After much needed rest, we were up and ready to swim/snorkel with the manatees. This was a blast!!! The kids loved doing this so much!

We got back to the hotel and had lunch then the kids had a free afternoon. Some swam, some kayaked, some fished, some laid out…it was PERFECT!!!

The water at Crystal River was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful!!!

MD rented a paddle board with the freshmen girls and went all over the river! They had a BLAST!

We loaded up Friday morning to head home…jackson had the best seat on the bus!

So many memories were made!!!
