Last Days of High School

This was their first day of school at TJ. Mary Dalton was starting K4 and Jackson was starting K3.
Some of those days were long… And I mean long, but the years were short. I can’t believe that today was Mary Dalton‘s last day of high school. We have field day and honors day left, but today was her last day of class. Her locker is cleaned out and she is officially done with all of her schoolwork!

I’ve tried to incorporate some senior spirit days throughout the year for extra fun! Yesterday the kids wore their senior shirts and they signed each other’s shirts.

This has been such a fun class to teach! They are always down to have a good time in the classroom and never take themselves too seriously or think they are too cold to play my games!

Since her daddy took her to school when she started K3, she wanted him to bring her today. She adores that man.

Today, everyone wore their college shirt!

Two of these girls will be going to UGA with Mary Dalton, the rest are all going to different colleges. They’re going to be all over the place but I hope they stay close!

All smiles cleaning out their lockers!

One last picture!

I am absolutely exhausted. The end of the year will wear you out if you aren’t a teacher but being a teacher and having a child graduating is physically and emotionally wearing me out. After school today it was a beautiful day and we went over to Sooz’s house and sat with her outside for a little while. It was a nice break! My favorite fellas came over too!
