Just checking in ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I am finally on winter break!!! We got out of school Thursday and don't go back until Tuesday a.m. ~ a much needed break/rest! Dalton is out of town, so the kids and I went to Augusta yesterday to Jump City ~ They had the best time and were worn out...not that they slept late this a.m. MDD was up at 4:45 and JDD was up at 6:00 ~ They slept with me and are not used to this. I think when they woke up and saw me, they thought it was time to get up! Anway ~ I have already told them that there will be NAP in the NEAR future! ((yawn))

Funny stories from this week;

JD: I want a real cup like sissy.
Me: I don't think that is a good idea. you are not careful and the floor was just mopped.
jd: puhweaaaaaze
Me: no, not today.
MD: Jack, at the 'wate you are going, you will be taking a sippy cup to college!

JD waits until the LAST minute to potty. I don't care as long as he makes it! Anway, he ran and was trying to get on the potty and couldn't reach. He came running and saying he needed help. i put him on the toilet and he literally started going then. He said, "Just in the MICK of time!" He loves to tell you he is not done and that his hiney is still "talking" ~ that would be gas. :)

MD: Jack do you love me as much as Africa?
JD: Who is Africa?


***We did purchase 2 beta fish yesterday and they lived through the night! Jackson got an aquarium for Christmas and we are just now getting a fish. MDD has had a fish before, so we are gonna try our hand at fish rearing again! :)
