busy weekend...

We have a busy, but FUN weekend! MDD is still at the coast, so we have been 1 child"less" all weeeknd. jackson misses her, he asks 500 times a day, "When my sissy coming home?" :) They are so sweet and so close!

Friday night was graduation at our high school. We had several parties to attend afterwards, and did not get in bed until midnight...that it LATE for us people! Thankfully, JDD slept until 7:30 on Saturday, but I got to lay in bed until 8:30! Small blessings, but I am thankful! :)

Saturday a.m. we went to Jackson's friend's bday party at Chuck E Cheese, we are now 48 hours out and no vomit...small accomplishment for us.

Saturday night was Dalton's 15 year class reunion. We had the best time! He had a great class! He graduated from the same school where I teach, and I think his class had 23 people, and 19 attended...so that was pretty good! Sometimes I wonder if we are making the right choice by sending our children to school at such a small private school and wonder what they might be missing if we moved and they went to a big, nice public school instead. However, God uses all sorts of little "reminders" to let me know we are making the right choice. The speaker at graduation, the student speakers at graduation, Dalton's class reunion, etc. I have to say, Thomas Jefferson is turning out good, Christian people...who are all productive members of society! :)

We did not get in from the reunion until 1:00...wayyyy toooo late!!!! We slept until 8:30! This is a record for us! :)

We had another party for Landen on Sunday and by Sunday night, jack was OUT! He went to bed at 7:30 and slept until 8:30 this a.m. He is still laying around! :P

dalton is at the farm today and hopefully if the rain holds out, we are gonna take jdd fishing this afternoon!

i have to work tuesday and wed. and then I am DONE! YEAH! I am so looking forward to a relaxing summer and enjoying my family!

Pray for MDD as she comes back (sometime!) this week! We are closing on our house on thursday, so please pray all the cards fall into place!

Oh yeah...we watched Fireproof finally...we are a little slow! How awesome was that movie?!?! If you have not seen it, go rent it!
