Happy Mother's Day to Nana!

I cannot begin to tell you why I have the best mama in the world! She is so much fun! When I was little, she always found time to push me on the tire swing, go for walks, take me to Sonic, watch me skate/ride my bike, etc. She always made our home a place where my friends felt welcome and wanted to come. No matter how tired she was, she would sit in the bathroom with me while I bathed each night so we could catch up on the day (she still does that when we are together). I could trust her and could and never had to worry that she would think less of me...even when I made HUGE mistakes. She trusted me and let me go and do things and learn from my own mistakes. She always had (and still does) homemade treats on the counter and cooked me good meals everynight. She never seemed stressed out and never made a big deal of hardly anything. I cannot remember my mama ever ONCE raising her voice at me. She lead my example. She showed humility, humbleness, kindess, compassion, and selflessness each day. She honored my Daddy and was faithful to her church. She lived a life that was an example to me on how I should live my life.

My mama is truly my best friend. I strive to be more like her each day (especially with the patience!). I talked to her two, sometimes three , times daily. My daddy adores her, my sister and brother adore her, she is hands down number one in my book....and my children think that Nana is right next to Santa Claus!

Thank you God for blessing me with a Christian mother, who loves You and taught her children to do the same.

I love you Mama!!!
Happy Mother's Day!
Amber
