As a teacher, there are 2 times of the year that are always busy and filled with mixed emotion...the beginning and the end. And here I am, at the end...again. It is hard to believe that yet another year is over and that BOTH of my babies will be at school with me next year...Mary Dalton in K4 and Jackson in K3. I have been ever so busy trying to "end" the year. I only have 4 days left with my seniors and I am trying to get all their final projects graded/entered...my computer crashed which put me even farther behind. just one of those things....
I have a stack of biology tests that I need to finish grading but do have 2 cute things to post...hopefully things will settle down next week and I can post more...hope you all are doing welll....

Cute thing #1 ~ MDD while attempting to read a 1st grade worksheet with short a sounds...the word was HAM and you had to match the picture to the word...after doing the first 6 or so, she was tired...looked at the word, then the picture and firmly and assuredly answered, "CHICKEN." And drew a line from ham to the picture of the ham. :)
Cute thing #2 ~ When I told Jackson that it was not raining today and he could play outside and I would watch him play, he gave me the biggest hug and said, "God did give me the sweetest mommy in the "hold" wide world!" How sweet is that???
