How RARE is a day when Amber Dowdy takes a 2 hour nap!!?!?!? I feel like I have won the lottery. REALLY. It is amazing what a nap can do for one's body and soul! :)
Our old sitter, who we LOVE so much Lucille (kept the kids 2 years when they were little) came today and kept them for me since Jackson's sitter was off and MD did not have school. So, I did not have to drive all over creation picking everyone up. I was home by 12:30 and I put them both right in the pool. I am reading a Nicholas Sparks book so I read while they swam. After I had them good and tired, we all got in Jackson's bed and we were OUT. I slept so hard my arm was asleep when I woke up...I hope this is a taste of what is to come this summer!;-)
I forgot to mention that we have a new little girl living with us. Lola Dowdy. This is Mary Dalton's "invisible" friend. I am not sure when she arrived, sometime last night is what Miss Priss is saying. I tried to tell her that most people call it "imaginary" friends...she explained rather quickly 'Lola is not just in mind she is real." I even get Lola a popscicle and watch it melt. MDD said she did not eat it bc "She doesn't care for blue." .....uhhhhh....ok.
Lola even took a nap with us, as a matter of fact...she is still napping! ha! MDD wanted to know if Lola could live with us. I said as long as she was potty trained, could wipe herself and could throw up in the toilet, that I would love for her to!
It is so funny to watch MDD though. she talks 90 to nothing to the thin air....Jackson gets mad bc he cannot "see" Lola. This should be fun if she keeps this up!
We have our photo shot with Haley Lamb tomorrow and I am so excited! I cannot wait to see what she does!
