catching up...

Sorry for the lack of entries…we have been too busy around here! As I mentioned, last week did NOT go so great for MDD. We are hoping this week will be better! We made a paper chain with 14 tags. If she cannot cry for 14 days, she gets to help Sue-anna and Suz with the Open House at the candy company and then go to the coast. She is saying that she is not going to cry, I guess we will see!

Last week was my 31st birthday ~ Dalton offered to take me out, but the weather was SOOO pretty that day and the maid had just cleaned, so I opted for him to pick up burgers and let the kids play outside. It is rare that I feel “caught up” and can just sit and enjoy myself, but I did that day!

Jackson had his first real hunting trip…to the dove field! He was TOOOO cute!!! I will post pics (they are on Dalton’s camera). I think he had just as much fun cutting their heads off and cleaning them! He was SOOOO dirty!

We had some friends here from Atlanta and enjoyed swimming and cooking out at the cabin with them. It was funny, at one point, I realized that all 4 of those children could belong to one person…They are 8, 6, 5, and 3 ½ ~ You could put me in my grave! Ha!

Our new preacher started Sunday. We have not had a preacher in 2 ½ years. Dalton and I moved out letter to another Baptist church when Mary Dalton was a baby and started going back to Wrens Baptist about 1 ½ years ago. We are still members at the other church, but plan to move our letter to WBC soon. He is young and had lots of great ideas planned…we are very excited!
I also spent some time getting ready for our semi annual consignment sale. Two friends and I started this last year and it was a huge success! We sell only high end boutique clothing ~ lots of great deals!

Today is my mother’s birthday! I cannot tell you how much I LOVE MY MAMA! J She is the most patient, kind, selfless, humble person I have ever known. She is truly one of my very best friends! She is too funny and loads of fun to be around! Hope you have a great day Mama ~ My faithful blog reader! I love you LOTS!
