I bet you guessed it ~ I am home with a sick child....AGAIN! Jackson has been complaining with a headache for the last 3 days and started running fever last night. We went to the dr. this a.m. and he has a sinus infection. We are back home and he had had his medicine. I am sure hoping that he takes a nap soon! I don't thin that we have slept a full night in 2 weeks and Mommy is worn out!
Dalton went to the old pecan plant yesterday (used for storage) and found his old Transformers. Jackson has had a BALL! He has built with the Lincoln Logs all morning and played with the Transformers! He has been so cute! I hate it when they are sick, but it is so rare to have one on one time with them, that I actually enjoy it!
Funny things from this week/weekend ~
*MD talked JD into playing babies. He came downstairs with the baby under his armpit. I told him that he could not carry a real baby like that bc it would hurt her. He said, "I'm not hurting her. I'm BREATH feeding her with my armpit!" ;)
*MD came to classroom this a.m. before I left to come home with JD and told me that they had a new student. She was very excited because the little girl spoke Spanish. MD said, "It will be just like Dora is in my class!"
*DDD recorded some Taylor Swift show that MDD watches over and over and over! She sings all her songs and show the videos. She was watching it and said, "Taylor's mama might want to go on a diet." ~ Out of the mouths of babes.....
*Yesterday in church, the VBS director gave a plug for VBS. Last night when I was putting Md to bed she said, "Now remember Mama....Miss Gail has taught me all about God. I know about the Father, Son and even the Holy Ghost. There is no need to sign me up for VBS." ~ Poor thing...she really did not like it last year!
*I was in the laundry room and could hear MD and JD looking for me. They were calling me and I was ignoring them. I heard JD say, "I bet she is in the laundry room! That is all she ever does!" SOOOOO TRUE JD~ thanks for noticing! :)
We have a busy week planned! This was my only "down" day if there is such a thing! I sure hope the meds kick in and everyone gets better! It is a beautiful day here! I hope that when MD gets home we will be able to go out for awhile!
Enjoy your day!
