When we got to Nana and Pawpaw's the first thing we ALL did was get the new puppies out! The mama dog died so we get to bottle feed these sweet babies ~ These poor dogs will be GLAD to see us go! MD and JD have pushed them in the wheel barrow, the stroller and on the bug wheel! They are soooo cute! We gave them a bath yesterday and MD and JD helped...they are having a blast with the puppies but we willl NOT be taking one home! I don't want anything else in my house that eats or poops! ;)
But how PRECIOUS is this baby?!?!? Her name is Demi ~
Last night, we *thought* was the grand lighting of the MS river bridge, but it is tonight! Oh well ~ the kids had a great time playing on the splash pad and enjoying the river!
Mary Dalton was not so sure about the splash pad at first ~ but it did not take her long and she was soaking wet! There were quite a few wild children there and she is usually timid in situations like that, but she did really well and had fun!
Jackson of course was WIDE OPEN! He had a blast and made friends with the wild children...boy these 2 could NOT be more different!
Today, we went to Franklin County, where my mama's family is from. I have such great memories from my childhood of going to Frankiln Co. and playing in the creek and for the past 3 summers, Md and JD have been able to go!!! AND ~ they love it as much as I do!

This is Mary Dalton with her great-great Aunt Winnie...she is my grandmother's sister. She reminds me soooo much of my grandmother! They favor so, excpet my Nannie was very slender. Winnie is not looking at the camera, but she is foxy mama for an 80 year old woman! She never married and has taken care of both her parents and siblings that have passed on ~ she is a DOLL!
