Fun with my girl ~

First off, we are all better today! Praise the Lord! We stayed home from church to be on the safe side and because I had an allergic reaction to my antiboitic....lovely hives/rash....I am stunning! Anyway, Dalton & I watched a movie, I paid bills (yuck-o!), ironed (even yuckier!) and got all the laundry put away!

This afternoon, MD & I ran to a friend's house for a Kelly's Kids party. MD wanted to get a turkey dress so her daddy would like it ~ how sweet is that?!? Jackson stayed with Dalton and they went to the farm.

While they were gone, MD & I enjoyed some alone time. I LOVE LOVE spending time one on one with our children. I cut her nails and gave her a pedicure and then she helped me cook Shrimp and Wild Rice for tomorrow night. She is just too much fun! It's like talking to a friend, or someone my age. That girl is a mess!

Funny story ~ We were in Ingles and I needed Uncle Ben's rice. I was looking at my list and MD spotted it. JD said, "Why is Barack Obama on that rice? I don't want that kind!" (told yall he was smart! ha!) I said, "That is not Barack Obama, that is uncle Ben." He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "That's not MY Uncle Ben! He is white!" ha! Can't wait to tell Uncle B this one! ;)

Here are a few shots from today ~ JD was not here ~ sorry Nana! I will post pics of him later this week! They are all out of order, but I am having FAITH that we are ALL going to well this week and I packing up the "sick" pallets/cots and sending them back to their rooms tonight! I took a pic of one of many stacks of things that had to be washed....sigh....

Mary Dalton was THRILLED that I did my toes purple like hers! :)
Hope you all have a great week! :)
