Last Days of Summer FUN!

We are busy enjoying our last few days of summer! Yesterday, we went and bought groceries and made a run to the dollar store, we were out of EVERYTHING! The children both took a few dollars of their own to spend ~ MDD bought a hair set and then traded Jackson some silly bands so he would "do" her hair since I was busy unloading and cooking! ha! I HAD to get a picture of this ~ She is SOOO rotten!

She also bought a princess coffee cup so we enjoyed coffee and LIVE with Regis and Kelly this a.m. too ~ **Jackson bought a bowling set and some balloons ~ no pics! :(

I asked him to feed Sunny this a.m. I am trying to do btter about asking him to do things or to help....but bless his heart....he just doesn't "get" what I want him to do. He will have the best intentions, but it just never works out! Anyway, I asked him to please feed the cat and give her a scoop full ~ He never touched the scoop....he dumped almost the ENTIRE bag of food in her bowl! Sunny was eatin' it up too! ha! MDD went out and scooped it all back out but the right amount. We did not even bother to tell JD he did it wrong. ;)

We were able to get in a quick swim before it got SOOO hot today! This really is my favorite part of summer!

MD could not stand to be in the pool alone, so she got out until her partner in crime could join her again! :)

And there's more today ~ ~ ~ We are having a Lemonade Stand with Abby & Mallie this afternoon and then Abby is going to sleep over with MD. She is OH SO excited! She has everything planned out for them to play/do! Wonder where she gets that planning??? ;)
