Ideas???

As you may remember Mary Dalton did NOT adjust well to school last year....at all. I remember it was pure misery for the 4 of us for a good 3 weeks....which is probably why I have a knot in my stomach now. Anyway, we are hoping and praying that this year will be better for her. Her new teacher is very "fun" ~ crafty, laid back, etc. I have worked with her for 6 years and have always hoped MD & JD would get their "turn" with Ms. Sharon!

I am trying to think up some fun things to do leading up to Tuesday and the rest of the week. Here's what I have got ~
I am thinking of filling their rooms with balloons on the 1st a.m. of school.

Some type of cheap gift wrapped to have after the 1st day.

Letting them help me make a snack to share with their class.

Getting pedicures with school colors (MD only of course!)

BUT ~ I need more ideas! I want to surprise them each day the 1st week at the end of the day. It has be cheap and easy! Please let me know if you have any ideas! On Friday, we may go to Mellow Mushroom...it their FAVORITE place to eat and that would be a "big" treat to them!

I would really appreciate your ideas and your prayers as we begin yet another school year! Makes me tired just thinking about it!
