Night Time Stories ~

For that past almost 6 years, I have read to Mary Dalton at night ~ EVER night. I guess she was about 6 weeks old when I started reading to her and we would read, "Jump, Frog, Jump" and "Mr. and Mrs. Noah" every night...it was kinda her way of knowing she was about to get put in the bed and we needed her to sleep....yeah right! ;) I always treasured that time I had her all to myself and she was clean and sweet! Her sweet little prayers and for awhile her drinking her milk or sucking her paci ~

Gone are those days! Big girl is reading to me at bedtime! Every night she picks a book and reads to me! I still read her devotion, say her prayers with and sing her a song....and I sure hope that doesn't end anytime soon! I keep reminding myself my mama would come lay in the bed with me every night until I left home and we would just catch up from the day and talk about the next....I pray MD will do the same with me, those are such sweet memories!

Anyway ~ after she BREEZED through this book, I ran downstairs and got my camera and asked her to read it again so I could record it and yall know she turned on the charm! ha! ;) the 1st time through she did now know the word "knee" but got it the 2nd time through.

I am so proud of her! She is getting SO big and I can't believe she is about to be in kindergarten and 6 years old! She is so pretty, smart and sweet and I am so blessed to be her mother!
