All School Weeks Should be 4 Days!

I am BEYOND thankful that we did not school today! The kids and I got up this morning, and headed to Augusta. We ran TONS of errands and then met some friends at Chuck E Cheese, can't wait to see what sickness we get from that! I call it "Chuck E Disease" bc everytime we go we bring home a lovely stomach bug or better yet, a week long case of strep! We germ-xed the kids as best we could and they had a blast ~ so I know two mommies who are praying their kiddos stay well! ;)

MDD got to use her Justice gift card today. She has had it since her bday and has been dying to use it! She bought germ-x (like mother, like daughter), glitter lotion, 2 bras, a shirt and some candy. She was SO proud!

JDD got some MUCH needed jeans for fall! The 6 slim is still huge on his skinny little body, but he has to have it for the length. He was actually good bc I took the stroller and his DS ~ need to remember this! ;)

We went to get his flu mist today. MD already had hers. Jackson went CRAZY! He was SO scared he was going to get a shot. Dalton gave him his knife to hold to help him feel brave. I called the office to give them a head's up that we were on the way and that he was REALLY nervous and crying to the point of throwing up. He wanted me to go in get the medicine then for ME to give it to him. Thank heavens for such a PATIENT nurse! She let me leave him in his carseat and she came out and did it in the car ~ as soon as she walked out the door, he started screaming and flicked the knife open ~ way to go Dalton! ~ I took the knife and the nurse gave him the nose spray.....HOLY COW! You can reason with MD about SO much more than you can with him. When he had swimmer's ear about 4 weeks ago, he had 4 shots over 24 hours and I did not tell him on the 2nd day that he was getting a shot, so he is still a weeeee bit upset about that! He said, "Mama, if you let them give me a shot, I am not going to be able to love you anymore." How sad is that?!?! I wanted to cry for him!

I am pumped about a 4 day work week! AND ~ we are out on the 29th too! wooohoooo!!!!
