*We are having homecoming week this week at school. Tuesday was Tacky Day ~ Can you believe MD won for best dressed in elementary??? She was BEYOND proud. JD won last year and so now they are even! ;) She wore patterned leggings, a flower dress, tutu, one silver boot and a flipflop ~ oh yeah...and 2 different bows....she was tacky! Today was Camo-Redneck Day, JD was too cute in his overall with no shirt, Priss opted for a boutique swing top and pants. "I don't DO camo." good girl! Me either! ;)
**We went to the fair last night...forgot my memory card! :( The kids had a BLAST! Bree was there, so JD rode every ride with her! MD got in this tilt-a-whirl thing with 2 boys from her class and they spun that thing like crazy! She LOVED it! I was sick just watching! They had a huge slide and they both loved that too! Maybe Roxanne will share some pics and I can post them!
***A friend and I have started "Couch to 5k" ~ hmmm...let's just say, we are a LOT closer to the "couch" part than the 5k! I am looking online tonight to find a 5k and we ARE doing it. It's bad when you are so fat that your thighs are rubbing while running....and that you have given birth so many times that you have to concentrate on not peeing your pants instead of running! Anyway ~ We are sticking to it! We are determined! :)
****I am SO sad to say that hunting season starts on Saturday. I guess it will be a long weekend at home with the munchins! I gotta come up with some activities that will keep us ALL sane!
*****Someone broke into one of Dalton's rental properties and stole the fridge and cut out all the wiring. Worse than that, they stole a LOT of pecan equipment and a truck. How could anyone do such a thing and even be able to stand themself??? It's so frustrating!
OK ~ That's our week so far! Only 2 more days ~YIPPEE!!!!!
