My little Indian, Jump Split, was SOOOO pumped today! She and all the sqauws having a
snack in the zebra tent!
Her sweet teacher let them make their entire outfit ~ the dress, head dress, necklace, etc. They even had face painting this a.m. ~ I would need a MAJOR dose of prozac if I had her job ~ but she is one of the best teachers I have ever taught with and am so blessed to have her teaching MD!
And ~ as I was grading papers, this precious pilgrim boy came to see me! He has been under the weather for about 2 weeks and I broke down and took him to the dr. today ~ Poor guy has a double ear infection and a sinus infection. We got some medicine so hopefully he will be better before too long! :)
The Pow Wow continue late into the day ~ they had food, music, dancing, games! One little girl got in the teacher's lap and fell asleep! She wore them out ~ But of course MD "is not tired!"
They also made LOTS of cute art projects this month, I LOVED Mary Dalton's turkey made from her foot! :)
I am thankful today that I have NINE days off!!!!!!!!!
