I have spent the afternoon cooking! A friend had sugery, so I made a butterfinger cake and I have girl's night out tonight so I made an appetizer! Of course if I cook it, it is EASY-PEASY so try them and enjoy! :)
Butterfinger Cake ~
Make 1 chocolate cake (I use Duncan Hines Devils Food). While it is still warm, punch holes in the cake with a straw and pour sweet condensed milk over top. Allow to cool. Top with cool whip and crushed butterfingers. Store in fridge. (see...easy!)
Sausage Tartletts ~
4 packs of fillo pastry cups (by frozen biscuits) I use Athens brand
1 lb. sausage, cooked, drained
black olives, chopped
1 pck dry ranch
2/3 c. Monteray Jack (shredded)
2/3 c. Sharp (shredded)
Dash of Tabasco
Mix all and add to shells ~ cook until heated through, about 15 mins. You can freeze the sausage mixture! This fills 60 shells. SOOOO good and it looks like you really know how to cook! ;)
Hot Olive Puffs
1/2 c all purpose flour, sifted
3 TBS softened butter
1 c. sharp (shredded)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 paprika
Green olives, drained
Mix cheese and butter, add flour, salt & paprika. Pinch dough to form small ball, cover olive. The juice from the olive helps it "stick" ~ You can freeze them on a cookie sheet then transfer to a bag OR cook for 12-15 mins at 350 until brown.
My freezer is full and I am ready for some fun Thanksgiving and Christmas entertaining and parties! :)
Enjoy!
