A Girl Can Dream ~

The children have been busy making their Christmas lists ~ yesterday, Mary Dalton asked me what Santa was bringing me. I tried to explain as I do every year, that Santa only brings children gifts. She kept on and on and on begging me to write my wish list, so I gave in and played along ~ Here what's I would ask for ~

1.) A day off. I mean ALL THE WAY OFF. No phone, no computer, nothing but me and a good life time movie. To make this REALLY work, everything would have to be clean or I would not enjoy myself. Oh yeah ~ and my kindle!

2.) Ipad ~ One of my students brough his Ipad to school and it was the COOLEST toy EVER! I would love to have one one day! It literally does everything! LOVE it!
3.) How precious are these boots? I saw them about 3 months ago in a store window and fell in love ~ but! They cost almost as much as an ipad ~ so you know I'd pick the Ipad over the boots! ;) But they sure are cute!
4.) I am DYING for these pants! These were on Oprah's favorite things list ~ She said that they "Cut your butt in half" oh yeah ~ sign me up! After running with all the skinny girls, I need something to cut my butt in half! ;) They cost about $100 so they better not only cut my butt in half, but my thighs too!

5.) I would never buy these, they are too expensive for rain boots, but they are precious! 6.) LOVE LOVE LOVE this Nike sportsband watch ~ although it does not keep time! It tells you how far you ran, times your runs, calories burned ~ and keeps a record of it! Way cool!

7.) I saw this purse on ebay's main page and fell in love ~ Love some leopard print....I hope it does not go out of style anytime soon! ;)

Although it's lots of fun to wish and to want, all I really want for Christmas is to have good health for our family, lots of laughter and God's continued grace over our family.
Today, I am thankful for lazy days! They are VERY rare around our house, but I am so thankful that every once and a while I can have a day where I sit back and relax and enjoy the blessings God has given me!
