Today I am thankful for ~

Thomas Jefferson Academy.

I am so thankful that my children go to a school where they are safe and loved. I am thankful that I work there and have a boss that WANTS us to put our families first. I am thankful that my children pray at school with their teachers. I am thankful that their teachers are Christians and not only teach them academics, but about God. I am thankful that I am at school with the kids and they can come to me if they need something. I am thankful that so many people there truly love my children! I am thankful for all the "extras" that their teachers do for them to make learning extra fun! I am thankful that my children are challenged and EXPECTED to do their best! I am thankful for co-workers are wonderful friends and make working fun! I am also thankful for my students, who keep me on my toes! ;)

Speaking of toes ~ Today was "funny feet" day in K5! Mary Dalton is the purple clog girl ~ that was thrown together this morning during my homeroom! ;) Miss Sharon let them parade around and show off their funny feet!

Today was Grandparents Day at the book fair and Big Daddy drew the short straw and got to come eat lunch with the kids and shop at the book fair! ;)They were super excited to have him there! He is such a good sport! :)

Whitney Sue was in the book fair with her grandparents while MD was shopping! They were too cute "looking" at all their choices! These girlies love to shop already! ;)

I am SUPER excited this week is over! It was one BUSY week! The kids have a bday party tomorrow afternoon, and other than church, we have nothing planned! I am hoping I can finally put up my Halloween stuff...but what's the point now???
