Small Town Kinda Day ~

We have had a wonderful week so far! Mary Dalton is still glued to the TV watching Toddlers and Tiaras re-reuns ~ she has even named her AG dolls "Mckenzie" and "Eden" ~ I don't care WHAT she names/calls them as long as she is playing and not bothering Jackson! ha! They had a sleep over in the den Tuesday night.

Jackson has looked at all 500+ pages of the new Cabella's hunting magazine! He is too cute checking out all the hunting clothes and gadgets! He even "designed" his own custom rifle online...too bad it costs $7000 ~ he's on his own on that one!
I took Jackson on Wednesday morning for his 5 year old check up ~ better late than never! He weighed 44 lbs and is exactly 48 inches tall. His BMI is 12. His height is the 95% and his weight is in the 70% ~ wish I could say the same! ;)

After his appointment, we met some sweet friends at Dairy Queen for lunch! Of course, Mary Dalton packed the AG dolls! I LOVED listening/watching Jackson talking to Evans. Evans is SO sweet and is always so kind!

Mary Will and Mary Dalton enjoying their ice cream!

After lunch, we headed to the library for story hour. They had a magician today and Jackson was EATING IT UP!!! He loved it! The guy was really good ~ even I was impressed! :)

Sallie Ann and I both got volunteered to help with different tricks ~ we both talked on the wayhome and still have NO CLUE how he did his tricks ~ he was awesome!!!

He did one trick where he turned a balloon into a snake. My two came UNGLUED!!!! They were on the front row and QUICKLY were in my lap when he pulled out the snake! Jackson did warm up by the end and touch the snake ~ Mary Dalton...no way!

He was selling magic books and posters ~ of course Jackson had to have one! I thought this guy would be AWESOME for a birthday party ~ until I saw he was $600+ ~ told ya he was good!!!! And expensive!!!

After the library, we headed to get pedicures! Mary Dalton is too funny when we are there ~ she grabs a magazine, cuts her chair on and takes it ALL in. She is so quiet (which is uncommon!). Jackson was a great sport! They were not busy, so he was able to get in a chair and watch Arthur on you tube ~ so everyone was happy!

We came home and had a quick swim before heading to the Huddle House for supper ~ high class!!! ;)

We have a low key day planned today ~ hopefully we will get in a swim before the rain sets in!!!

Enjoy your day!
