Bedtime Prayers

Every night I sit and listen to our sweet children say their prayers...there is nothing sweeter than hearing my children talk to Jesus. Their prayers are soooo different but I love how they are THEIRS! Jackson prays for Anna Hays (a little girl with cancer) EVERY night. He always says,"I hope everyone in heaven is having a good time." he also prays for the trees, grass and for plants. When he ends his prayers he says,"all that I ask TO Jesus and his name." LOVE that boy!!!

Mary Dalton can pray like a preacher ! She prays for others SO much...she names missionaries by name,church leaders,teachers,friends...she's got them covered! My FAVORITE thing she prays about is thanking God for our school. Tonight she said,"thank you for miss Kim and miss kristi. Thank you that they love me and they teach us not just phonics but about You." yep....that tuition check....worth EVERY PENNY!!!

I love watching them grow into their own little bodies/personalities and most importantly grow in their walk/relationship with God!

Before I sign off .....Jackson got into some trouble today (that's another blog post!) and I reminded him to be sure to tell Jesus he was sorry for what he did....well, he did but he added,"thank you for forgiving me and for not remembering all the bad stuff I do and loving me anyway." such a lesson to ME on how I can easily forgive but I don't forget and how GRATEFUL I am for a God who not only forgives but B better yet, he forgets our sin!
