These Are a Few of My Favorite Things.......

Every year I like to come up with my "If I was Oprah What Would I Give Away" list ~ Too bad my stuff is cheap, but it is tested and GOOD!!!  It's also fun to look back from year to year to see what I was "into" ~

1. 

1.) Newton running shoes ~ The BEST running shoe EVER!!! I was given a VERY generous gift certificate by a student last year and decided to splurge and get a pair...and now I am hooked!!! If you are a serious runner (run more than 5 times a week) I would HIGHLY recommend them! You have to "train" your body to run in them, but once you get used to them, they are amazing!!!

2.) A student gave me one of these pretzels a few weeks ago and Oh. My. Word. They are heaven in a bag!!! I could eat the entire bag in one sitting!!! DELICIOUS!!! 

3.) I am a candle hoarder...LOVE LOVE LOVE a good candle!!! My favorite are Bath and Body Works, but!!! I bought this at Wal-Mart last week for $3-4 and I **think** I have found a winner!!! I used it last night and my whole downstairs smelled amazing!!! And the price!?!? That's a winner!!! It says on the candle "new improved scent" ~ they aren't joking!!! 

4.) Red Stamp ~ LOVE this app!!! You can create custom texts. emails, invites, etc. SO much fun!!! And it's FREE!!! I love to use these are thank yous!!! 

5.) Old Navy Compression Pants ~ If I could wear these to work...I would. LOVE them! They are the best to run in and they are SO comfy! They don't show lines either!!! AND ~ they are cheap ~ about $15 a pair!!! 

6.) I am SLIGHTLY obsessed with  Mix and Mama's Blog!!! I have tried LOTS of her recipes and they are ALL DELICIOUS!!! She has two small children so they are also EASY! No crazy ingredients!!! She is just precious! My favorite blog I am reading! :)

7.) In LOVE with this dress Mary Dalton wore today! My friend, Jody, made it ~ You swap out the patches for holidays, birthdays, etc! The dress comes with one patch and you buy extras ~ I think they are $10 a patch. So...this one dress can be worn ALL year! You can order one from her facebook page ~ Josephine's. 

8.) I also am a HUGE fan of Groovebook!!! You upload your pics from your iphone and for $2.99 once a month they will send you 100 pics printed!!! GREAT deal!!! Use the coupon code DOWDY06 for a free book! :) 

9.) My new favorite food is hands down Dalton's pizza cooked on the green egg....there are no words. It is THAT good. 

10.) Camp is "in" and you know Big D will be ALL OVER that!!! I bought these pink camo pants at The Gap and it was love and first wear! They are so cute, soft and comfy!!! Not to mention, FUN! I might hunt if the camo was pink! ;)
