Well… Another year has come and gone. This Christmas was definitely one of the least stressful we have ever had. When you’re not wearing about your kids finding their Santa gifts are moving the stupid elf Christmas is actually a lot of fun!!! I snapped this picture Christmas Eve night after I put out their Santa gifts. Everything was so clean and so peaceful… It made my heart happy.
Christmas Eve night we went to the candlelight service at the Presbyterian Church in Louisville. Dalton‘s parents attend church there so we got to see them before we left.
When we got home, UPS have been back and left Jackson a huge box of trapping supplies! He could not wait to do again… He was so excited!!! While he unpacked his gear, I finished cooking supper. I forgot to take pictures but we had a nice Christmas dinner and our formal dining room. We never ever use the formal dining room so this was a big deal! Ha!
they venture downstairs a little after nine to start opening presents! I got up earlier and was able to get everything ready for breakfast. It was super low-key… And perfect for us.
Both of the kids got a new laptop! This was something they didn’t ask for but we surprise them with and I have enjoyed them so much!
Mary Dalton‘s Christmas consisted of make up and clothes … Her take favorite things!
Jackson’s consisted of things for the dogs, trapping things and hunting things… He was pretty happy!!!
Dalton‘s parents came over and brought the kill day their gift. They stayed and had breakfast with us and then we took a great nap!!!
After we know that the kids did their stockings… We drug Christmas out all day!
After we had supper we opened the presents under the family tree.
Dalton has been saying for years that he wanted a harmonica! I was so proud of myself for remembering and ordering it in time to surprise him!! He’s actually not bad at it!!!
it was a great Christmas and we have so much to be thankful for!!!
