Dalton asked me if I was ever going to blog again… It’s not that I don’t want to but it’s the same old same old and not much to report! Our afternoons are filled with football practice, cheer practice or football games. Mary Dalton is the manager for the softball team so that is keeping her busy On top of all her other commitments. Jackson had a game last Thursday night and I have no clue what the score was but I didn’t know they lost terribly. See… Not much to report! ;)
This gem did pop up on my time hop and make my day!
This past Friday night we had an out-of-town game that was about two hours away. We left at 2 PM and I pulled in my driveway at 1:30 AM. I was absolutely exhausted on Saturday night! The varsity team played great and they did win.
Saturday morning we slept in and then got dressed and headed to Augusta with Natalie and Ava Grace. We decided to have an impromptu girls day since all of the men in our life for bird hunting.
Ava Grace is in first grade and she is absolutely hilarious! She is so mature and so growny for her age. Mary Dalton is not a big “kid fan”but she loves Ava!!!
And I love Ava’s mama!
Eva and Natalie got pedicures while me and Mary Dalton went to home goods. We all went for sushi and then shopped around some boutiques. Mary Dalton was chosen as the ninth grade representative for homecoming so we attempted to find a dress but we did not have any luck
I asked for pictures from the bird hunt and this is all I got.

They had a great time hunting though. Saturday night we were also exhausted I honestly don’t even remember what we did for supper but I know I was in bed by 7:30. That late night the night before caught up with me for sure!
Sunday morning we went to church in Augusta. We really enjoyed going there I just wish it wasn’t so far! They have a great Instagram page and this was posted there and it was in one of my favorite parts of the sermon!
After church Mary Dalton went bird hunting with Brinson, Jackson worked on some make up work (he didn’t go to school Friday he wasn’t feeling well), and I got in the pool and read my new book

I was able to catch up on some laundry and even manage to cook supper on Sunday night… Which rarely happens!
And now here we are another week! Mary Dalton is in Macon today at a softball game, Jackson has football until five and Dalton is working late. I’m currently floating around in the pool and enjoying an hour of peace after a long Monday at school. We have a super busy week and a even busier weekend!!! I have 100 things I need to do but I thought an hour in the pool Trump anything on my to do list!
