Another Week of Randomness...

We have had some extremely cold weather this week! Jackson has been  running his trap line  at the golf course and he convinced me to go with him one day after school. He caught a fox...and I almost froze.

It was worth it though....I love doing things he loves with him!

I almost died this week when Mary Dalton walked downstairs in her basketball uniform. She accidentally picked up the men’s mediums instead of a women’s extra small. Needless to say we all had a good laugh about this!!!

They had their first game last week against Glascock. She got to place him in the fourth quarter and bless her heart she said she was a nervous wreck! Those girls play rough… Like shove, push, and claw rough.  Not my girl… She’s more into contouring her face and accessories.  ;) however she loves the other girls on the team and has had so much fun with them!

Wednesday was world kindness day so I asked all of my house colors to wear a cardigan and honor of Mr. Rogers and do a random act of kindness. Sweet Whitney said brought me a bag of Reese’s peanut butter cups and a rose! So sweet!

all of my seniors dressed up and did random acts of kindness throughout the day! I can’t believe we are almost halfway done with this year!

Freshmen babies ready to spread kindness

I am in charge of the key club this year and we did a food and coat drive for our local Food pantry. We took our donations and dropped them off on Wednesday. Our goal was two thousand items and we have well exceeded that already

Thursday night a family hosted a cook out for the cheerleaders and football players. It was so nice! The kids had a blast!

We did not have a game Friday night so Mary Dalton and I went straight to Augusta to do some shopping. The boys came and met us for supper.

There were two young couples seated by us and they each had two kids. They had carriers ,highchairs, Diaper bags, food all over the floor, sippy cups that kept being thrown etc. it made me forever grateful that my children are teenagers. Good night.... you forget how much work little children are when yours are grown!!!

This girl and her daddy....she adores him,

Yesterday was a low key day at HOME!!!! Dalton and I went and had breakfast at huddle House and picked up a few things from the grocery store. We were back home by 10:30 and he went to the cabin to watch football and I stayed home to work on some laundry. These day were dying to make suckers, so I went and bought the stuff for them. Let’s just say we’re going to have to eat blow Pops or dumdum’s because the sucker making did not work.  They had fun though!

Big D got a new iPhone and his messages are cracking me up!

I feel like I can relate to this on so many levels! We have five more days until Thanksgiving break! But those five days for me are so jampacked but I actually have a to do list for each day, not the week. I’ve tried to break it down the best I can and work ahead so I’m not ultra  stressed out....let’s hope it works!!!

Five days....we can do it!
