What a week!!!!
We had something all day every day and even into the night! It seemed like everything I was in charge of at school fell on this one week.
Early morning duty, the food drive, the coat derive, Monday night supper, basketball games, Senior mom cheer practice, a varsity cheer practice, planning a senior pep rally, Senior night, a ball game on Friday night… Not to mention I’m supposed to teach and grade papers too!!!
Butter powder puff game on Wednesday I was running on fumes but we managed to pull it off and have a great time!!!
The freshmen and juniors played the seniors and sophomores. Let’s just say those coaches took their jobs seriously!!!
Sophomore cheerleaders!
Seniors and sophomores ready to play!
A few of the freshman boys ready to work!
Annndddd....
Some of soon to be high schooler next year!!!
And we all know that will be here sooner rather than later!
Part of our day was playing a game called our lips are sealed. All of the cheerleaders were a pair of lips as a necklace. If they kept their lips all day but not talking to any football players, they got to park a football player of their choice. If a football player got them to talk, he could take their lips and pie them at the end of the powder puff game.
Let’s just say Brinson should get the most persistent award and Mary Dalton should win the most headstrong award. He aggravated her to death trying to get her to talk, to the point where she took her tea and spilled it on him! My girl was not getting pie in her hair!!! Ha!
She kept her lips all day and of course chose to pass sweet BB!
She’s making so many fun memories!
And I can’t wait to get Jackson in high school to do the same with him!
Class of 2023
It turned out to be a fun night and were already thinking of fun things to do next year!
