Christmas Part 2

Christmas Eve night Jackson gave us the gifts he bought for us....MD went first and he bought her a pallet complete with some famous make artist's autograph...she was so excited!!! He also bought me a new pallet ~ he is so thoughtful! 

We went to the Christmas Eve service at the Presbyterian church in Louisville...grabbed a quick selfie after we got home...

We had a cheese board and lots of appetizers. Jackson gave Dalton his gift, which was a canvas picture from their bear hunt...see??? He's so thoughtful! :) 

Linda and Carl came over and we make milkshakes and enjoyed catching up with them! 

Christmas morning the kids slept until about 9:30  ~ 

Jackson was excited about this projector his phone...he can watch movies on his wall and play games, too. 

Mary Dalton's surprise gift was a make up mirror with a UBS port. 

You can tell she was excited! :) 

And my favorite part was spending it with Dalton....this sweet soul built me a new bed while I was in NYC! I was so surprised...he's not quite done, but I can't wait to get it home!!! 

After The Dowdy s came and ate breakfast with us, we went to their house to open gifts. I went EASY on breakfast this year...we had ham biscuits and ambrosia. I feel like we entertained/fed people nonstop the whole break, so I chose something easy!!!

Dalton got this cool gun rest that also has a spot for his Yeti (seen to his right) ~ he is NEVER EVER without this cup....

We went home and rested/regrouped/cleaned up ~ 

That night we made homemade lobster mac and cheese and opened the presents under the tree. 

It was such a fun day and not too stressful for the most part! 

I am back at work as of today and the kids are back in school....it was HARD to get up this morning, but we made it. ;) I so enjoyed my time at home with my sweet family.
