March Stuff

As much as February drug on… March is flown by!!! We have had a ton of rain but the last week has been nice and you can see the beginnings of spring. We are enjoying lots of time at the farm and just being outdoors!

We are in the peak of coronavirus and I’m pretty sure we are the only school still in school. I was off this past Friday but I heard the kids were off the chain… It should make for an interesting week to say the least! I’m really not feel full of the virus, but head lice… I will die!

Our school had cheerleader tryouts for the first time ever. We are moving to a sideline  competition team and needed to be sure we had the best team possible. MD worked so hard and I’m super proud of her!!!

Jackson is excited about turkey season and still loves his three dogs to death.  He has gotten so tall! I think he may be taller than Dalton when he’s all done growing!

And one more coronavirus name just because I can’t help myself… Dalton and I have a trip planned in June and I’m determined to go!!!!

We had the winter sports banquet last week. We were cracking up because this will probably be the only athletic event where Mary Dalton received more awards than Whitney Sue!!!

Sweet Dalton know that I had a long week last week and took me out to dinner at Calvert’s. I love our impromptu date night more than anything!

We were supposed to go to a Cole Swindell concert this past Friday night. Clairissa took the girls to Augusta to get their nails done and buy something to wear… And wouldn’t you know it got canceled because of the stupid coronavirus! The girls still had fun shopping and getting their nails done. He is supposed to reschedule soon!

We had our annual casino night last night and the theme was Juleps and Jockeys. We had a good time but it was a very slim crowd due to the social restrictions set in place.

Speaking of social restrictions… Mary Dalton has been sick with her allergies and Jackson is convinced she has coronavirus  🤦‍♀️

I asked him to take her breakfast this morning and he found himself a mask!

Since all extracurricular activities have been canceled this should be an easy week for us! We just have school and then nothing else on the calendar! I’m curious to see how viruswill shake out for us!
