Week 3 is officially in the books. It was hands down the worst week yet. Emotions were high, the walls were closing in...but we survived. AS rough as it was, I am SO thankful we have a pool, a cabin, and a farm where we can also "escape."
Last Sunday night, I facetimed several girls I graduated with. We had the best time catching up! We haven't actually talked in years, so this was so much fun! We were on the phone for over two hours and we laughed so much...something we ALL needed.
Our school had virtual spirit week last week and Monday was "Creation Day" ~ MD created some banana bread....and this kept her busy for a good two hours! :)
MD had an awful week last week. Just awful. She learned some life lessons though and she has THE best friends ever that came in to be there for her. Whitney showed up unexpectedly Sunday and stayed two nights with her. She brought her some treats and cheered her right up!
Jackson is still working 9-4:30 each day ~ This week is our "Spring Break" So he is taking off Thursday and Friday, but he is loving working!
Alison and Lisa came over last week to look at some clothes we cleaned out...and MD hit her up for some private tutoring! ;)
Dalton made it home from TX and I was EVER So thankful he was back!!! We went to a drive by parade birthday party for Branson. He was so excited to see everyone ride by. There are so many things that kids are missing out on, I was glad we could be a small part of his day!
Jackson got his first ever paycheck on Wednesday and he was PUMPED!!!! Love this boy of mine!!!
We have spent a good bit of time at the farm ~ the weather has been great and we have taken full advantage of it! This little lady was BEYOND glad to have her daddy back home. Ahhhhh....the voice of reason, Big D.
We took a walk to check out the waterfall ~ and speaking of falling...I fell in the creek....good times.
If nothing else, we are eating GOOD. I am counting carbs, so the steaks and lobster are my favorite right now! Big D has been cooking it UP!!!
We put the boat in and caught enough fish for supper ~
Or Dalton did.....I caught one little one.
That's pretty much what we have been up to...sprinkle in TONS of school work for all three of us. This week was supposed to be our spring break...so we are home, with not much going on. Thankfully, the weather is looking good! It's my FAVORITE holiday!!! Easter! We are going to dye eggs, cook at the cabin and celebrate all the good things we have in our lives.
Stay tuned....Week 4 will be coming soon....
