Social Distancing Week Two....

 Well… We’ve survived week 2.
It felt more like a month but we made it. Here’s a look into what we did to help pass the time…

Dalton set up post in the den to reload bullets and to work on his gun. . I was so glad to have company I didn’t even care

These two girls are getting a head start on their summer tans. That’s one thing that has been positive about our quarantine! The weather has been great this week!

I think on Friday… I honestly don’t even know the days of the week anymore… We went to a little boutique in Louisville and Mary Dalton Modeled a few things for them. The store was closed so we went around anyone. Again, we were thankful for an outing!

Speaking of outings, some other random day this past week we got to ride to Lowe’s with Dalton. He went in and we sit in the car but it was still a road trip! There was a Chick-fil-A right there and he decided since that it’s the Lords chicken that it would be OK for us to eat. He had himself a picnic while we ate in the car.

There was a big flock of birds and it was freaking me out! You can’t see Jackson in the picture above because he was trying to hang out of the car and get birds to come over there to scare me. I absolutely hate a bird!

Mary Dalton also decided that she liked Daisy this week and attempted to give her a bath.

I am cleaning out and going through some things and I stumbled across this picture from bid day…
#oldschool

We went to the farm one night and cook steaks. The road has been so bad out there we have not been out much, I need to go and get everything clean and straight because I have a feeling we are going to be out there a good bit!

Dalton went out of town, that’s a whole other issue, and Jackson help me grill burgers.   He has been MIA this week because he got himself a full-time job at The Orchards.  He even researched the child labor laws and found the paperwork to have the school filled out before we shut down. I’m telling you… This will be my kid that takes care of me when I’m old ...

Dalton and Rhett had a trip planned to San Antonio and then decided not to go until the very last minute. They took turns driving the 17 hours out there and then send me pictures like this… Why on this earth I thought this was a good idea I have no idea

More pool days...

Lots of Whooty!!!

And that’s about it. I don’t really know what day it is but I do know that we have two positive cases now in our county. It’s just a very strange and weird time in our nation. I absolutely love to teach school, but I hate online learning and trying to come up with busywork for children… That’s not teaching. There’s so much stress and unknown right now I’m just trying to focus on the positive things, as well as promises from The Bible.  Dalton will be home Tuesday morning about two or 3 AM. I’m sure I will feel better when all of my people are back in their nest! This is been an absolutely exhausting weekend with Dalton being gone, I’m hopeful that this week will be better !!!
