We had a busy Father’s Day weekend! The fun started Thursday when Dalton’s new grate for his green egg came in! I can’t wait for him to cook something good on it!
Jackson worked all week. He has ALWAYS been good with money, but now he rethinks every purchase...even what he orders to eat! He will say, “that’s $12...I’d have to work two hours for that!” Life lessons for sure! I’m so proud of him though! He’s worked all summer!
We got to pick some sweet corn and we loaded up!!! Our freezer is stocked! I creamed 20 bags of corn...lots of work but so good!
My parents came on Thursday! Mary Dalton was at a scrimmage. No parents could go because of covid, but she made a play and the coach bought her supper! She was tickled pink!
Jax helped nana with some computer stuff...
And Dalton brought me a Reese’s and apple pie moonshine! Two of my favorite things!
He also cooked for us while we visited with my parents.
We had a feast!!!! It was so good!
Dalton wanted to try a cheer stunt with md! She was scared to death!
We had intentions of picking blackberries....
We got nine berries.
NINE.
Hopefully they’ll be ready soon!
We did some fishing....
And enjoyed seeing Nana and Pawpaw.
It was a fun long weekend for our family.
