Well… I knew this day would come but good Lord it came quicker than I thought! This past Monday night, we told Mary Dalton we were going to Dublin to go to a new hunting store. She really wasn’t buying it and didn’t want to go with us but I convinced her we would do some shopping if she would go… Anytime we throw out shopping my girl will go with you! When we arrived in Dublin Dalton casually said let’s go look at cars. We drove around the lot for a few minutes and then he said let’s look at this white one with the bow on it. The guy we bought it from was waiting on us and he told us that the car was already bought but we were welcome to look in it.
She got in it behind the driver seat and Dalton got in the passenger seat. She loved the car and was commenting on how nice it was. Out of the blue Dalton said, “We’ll, happy birthday it’s yours!” She was so happy and so excited!!!
I can’t believe she will be 16 in a month! Where did the time go?!?!
Matt was such a big help in getting this car just right for her!
My anxiety and I will be through the roof and I will probably be praying more than ever when she starts driving! I’m so proud of her and the young lady she’s becoming! She’s just growing up so fast!
