November has FLOWN by and we are finally on Thanksgiving break!!! Thank you Lord! It has been a LONG year and I am in need of MAJOR time off!
Here is a peek at our month so far...
I have to post my all time favorite Thanksgiving pic...
My sweet babies....
What I would give to squeeze them just for a second!
I think Dalton could feel the tension from school and he took me to Abel Brown...bless his heart. He is the best.
Mary Dalton and Jackson both participated in One Act this year. They got to go to state and came in 4th which is a HUGE accomplishment for our little school! I was so proud of them both!!!
They had a great time and made so many memories!
Our little town of Louisville had their Christmas Open House earlier this month and I met some of my sweet friends for a night of local shopping and Mexican! We had so much fun, got started Christmas shopping and laughed all night. These ladies are so special to me and I am so thankful for them!
We have played football all month...it has been fun, but I am BEYOND ready to be done! We started cheer in June and it's almost December. These girls have come SO far and have done a great job but I am ready to hang up the pompoms for a few months!
Marti Ann and Mary Dalton have been such a big help this year. MD has worked with the MS girls and they both have choreographed several things for the team. I can't wait to see what they come up with for next year!
Mary Dalton & Cameron cooked burgers a few weeks ago...as much fun as she makes of me and Dalton for wanting to stay home and grill under the garage...these two did exactly that! ;) The burgers were good and they even cleaned the kitchen.
Cameron forgot church clothes...and helped himself to Big D's clothes...we were cracking up!
Brunch with Jackson is one of my favorite things do to! He LOVES Finch and Fifth as much as I do!
And I am 99% sure MD prefers brunch with Cameron over me...
As I said, school has been a LOT. I feel so bad for teachers who went into COVID teaching for their first year. It is SO SO SO much. I have a feeling there will be a lot of job openings after this year. It is without a doubt been the toughest year of teaching for me personally. Thankfully, I have lots to keep me motivated to keep going and get to spend time with my kids! :)
We have had some great afternoon hunts! Time with Jackson is always so fun. He is so sweet to me...he always checks on me and makes sure I am "good." I know Dalton loves me, but I swear I think Jackson David loves me more than anyone in the whole world. He is my heart....
OK ~ random and morbid...but Dalton found a website called findagrave.com and we started looking. This is his great great grandfather...I kinda freaked because they look alike!!! What the heck!!!
And I can't not mention sweet Sunny...she is still alive and kicking! Going on 12 years with the cat!
Well, that about wraps up our November so far! We are on Thanksgiving break and could not be more excited!!! We have some fun things planned and lots of relaxing, too! Even as crazy as this year has been, we are so thankful for the thousands of blessing we have. God is so good to us, even in the midst of the craziness of this world.
