Thanksgiving Week

WHY OH WHY do my weeks off go by SO flipping fast!?!? 

Today, I am back at school counting down to Christmas...three weeks to be exact...but longing for my house. After the quarantine last spring, I got extremely spoiled by being home and with Dalton whenever I wanted. I love my job, but I miss being home so much. June can't come soon enough...actually retirement! ;) 

Here is a peek back at our fun week off  ~

Saturday 11/21

Dalton and Jax are in Savannah finishing up the state shoot and these two decide to go hunting. 

MD shoots a deer, but we can't find it. We looked two hours with dogs and STILL no deer. She was so disappointed, but hopefully will get one later this season. 

Sunday was Cameron's 17th birthday ~ these two had a fun day together hanging out and going to supper. 

And I went hunting with Jackson in a stand that HAD to be 50 feet high....ok, slight exaggeration, but it was high!!! I was scared to death!!! 

We finally got up there, but I was nervous nelly all night!!! 

I did not have many "down" days but this was Monday and probably my favorite 20 mins of the week. The kids were asleep, Dalton was at work and I enjoyed my coffee and quiet morning. 

Monday I actually worked for Dalton, then we went to dinner to celebrate Clairissa's birthday! 

Our UBER drivers went for pizza while we dined a little nicer....

Tuesday, we had to go to Dublin to have some work done on my car and MD needed her first oil change. Lexie went with her and they had the best day! 

Wednesday was spent shopping, doing laundry and working on Christmas cards. We headed to the cabin and grilled steaks!

Dalton cooked a FEAST for Thanksgiving, and The Dowdys joined us. I did not take one picture! We were too busy cooking and hosting! I have got to do better! 

Thanksgiving night though...we had crab legs...LOTS of them. The kids filled up and went home to sleep before MD went Black Friday shopping with her friends. 

Jackson and I went shopping too...but not at 3:30 am. 

Saturday was spent sleeping in LATE and watching football at the cabin! It was a fun week, it just flew by!
