Holy cow… I’m so far behind! Here’s a peek at what’s been going on… We have spent lots of time at the farm shooting skeet lately!
We had a late Christmas celebration with Dalton’s parents. Sooz cooked a formal dinner and we had a wonderful evening.
We have not done this in years so it was a nice treat!
Mary Dalton and Whitney started back to school and Whitney immediately had to go on quarantine. They squeezed in a shopping day right before Whitney found out that she had to be on quarantine for 14 days.
This was such a fun day! We went to the farm to shoot skeet and grilled hotdogs. We had the best day and the weather was beautiful!
We are now three weeks back into second semester and the kids are working hard. Things are getting tougher and basketball is taking up a lot of time… It has been stressful to say the least. Jackson’s class dissect it out pallets this week and I snuck a picture!
Mary Dalton’s favorite little girl, Kylie Rae, turned five this week!
We have played lots… And I mean lots of basketball. Last week we had games every night except Wednesday. It’s just a lot. I don’t know how else to put it. This week we have games three nights. It seems like I work all day Sunday to get everything ready for the week to keep things rolling and to keep my stress level down. I think we have five more weeks… Not that I’m counting. 😳
The best thing about 2021 so far has been the Bible recap. I am committed to reading the Bible chronologically all the way through this year. I’m actually on day 19… I’m a day ahead of the plan and I have learned so much! It’s amazing how every day there’s something in the reading that I need to hear or be reminded of.
And that’s our January so far… Tomorrow is a big day at our house my baby boy is turning 15!!!! All the feels on that! ❤️😢
