NYC Part 2

Day two started at one of my favorite places… Juniors. The breakfast was delicious! There was only a 10 minute wait so it wasn’t bad. And every restaurant in NYC you had to wear a mask until seated and also show a vaccination card to even get in the door.

We finished up there and then went to all of the high-end stores to look at the beautiful decorations. Christmas time in New York City is the most magical place in the world! The talent of the people who decorate there is absolutely amazing!

He hates the shop so much but we did have fun looking at all the decorations.

Anytime we go on a trip I want the kids to get something to remember the trip bar. When Mary Dalton went to New York the first time with me she got a Tiffany bracelet. Jackson got a Goyard wallet and was very excited about his purchase! I hope you will have it forever and always remember the fun time we had.

We had a special visitor, Nancy, stop by and see us. She has been my tour guide for my high school groups for the past two trips to NYC. She is from the Bronx and she knows everything about New York! It was so fun catching up with her. I love to talk about the differences in her life and mine.

This was Jackson’s first time meeting her but he loved her as much as we do!

After Nancy left, we got dressed to go to see the  Rockettes!!!

My high school boys never look forward to this but after they watch the show 90% of them say this was their favorite part of New York. I have seen the show a couple of times so watched Jackson more than I watched the girls dancing. It is absolutely amazing if you have never seen it it is a must! He loved every second of the show!

We left and went to Saks fifth avenue to watch their light show. We had a perfect spot and watch the show all the way through twice.

It is absolutely beautiful!

We crammed so much into our first 24 hours! We made so many memories and I cannot even begin to explain how precious this time with Jackson was.
