I can’t believe this is the last week of April! This year has definitely not been the best as far as teaching, but we are on the final countdown!
Earlier this month we wrapped up the tennis season with a Funday at region tennis. Jackson has really enjoyed playing this year!
I took the beta club to the service center in our community and we had an Easter egg hunt for the special needs students. I was so proud my two kids and how they got right in there and interacted.
We had another egg hunt with our K5 buddies
I was also in charge of our schools ghost out… It was a super busy week to say the least! Mary Dalton, Cameron, whitney and Blake were in the ghost out this year.
They all four did an excellent job playing their different roles.
This is never easy for me to watch and having four kids that I care deeply about made it that much harder. It is my hope that this will make them think long and hard about drinking and driving.
As if we did not have enough going on, after the ghost out, I took a group of kids to have lunch with the governor.
We are also in the middle of baseball season and it was my day to work the gate. Mary Dalton was in the concession stand and I went to help her when I was done. I am soaking up all the time I can with both my kids!
Region champs!!!
Jackson was chosen for his class to go to the spelling bee. Mary Dalton had a doctors appointment so I did not get to go.
We took advantage of the beautiful weather and went to watch Chance play T-ball
The boys doubled wild turkey honey! Dalton was absolutely ecstatic!
Mary Dalton went on a tour of UGA earlier this week and went back this weekend and spent the night with Annie. It looks like she fit right into the college lifestyle!
She absolutely loves Ole Miss but also really likes Georgia! So many decisions in the next year! We have about 3 1/2 weeks left of school and we will officially have a senior in our house. I can’t believe the time is here!
