Easter has always been my favorite holiday. I love that there is not much stress involved and filling an Easter basket makes my heart happy! Easter fell on the same weekend as prom and I bought everything for the baskets but candy. I sent Dalton to the store and he did not disappoint… I think he bought one of everything!
Dalton wanted to hunt before church on Easter morning so we decided to give the kids their baskets the night before.
We have zero clue where Jackson’s basket is… It’s on my to do list to locate it this summer! He is not concerned about it at all but they have had those things since they were babies and I need to find it!
We went to church and had lunch at Finch and fifth. The sophomores have to clean up from each year so jackson and I had to be at the school by 3 PM. We decided eating out was the best option for us this year.
This was the first year I think in the history of my whole being that we did not dye Easter eggs! Our week was so packed and we literally could not squeeze one more thing in it! I’m going to do double next year to make up for it
After Jackson and I got done at the school, I met Dalton at the farm and we rode around until the sun went down.
A perfect Easter Day!!!
