Field Day

Field day was last week and it was the first day Mary Dalton had been to school all week thanks to a case of strep and the flu. Our softball coach heads this up every year and she does such a good job! It’s super organized and the kids have the best time.

The kids are grouped into groups of five or six and they each run a station for the elementary kids.

My heart can’t believe how grown they are!!!!

Our big kids are just the sweetest about helping out the little ones… And the little ones love interacting with the big kids. It’s a super fun day!

The senior boys were doing a water balloon station and had water guns… I think they had more fun than anybody!

After lunch, we have a corn hole tournament. Tala and I were on one end… And we were probably the worst two out of the whole school! We would get so excited if one of us even hit the board we would cheer… Our partners did not understand while we were cheering for the opponent but we were so proud!

The seniors make a redneck slip and slide every year…they have so much fun on it!

It was such a fun day! And the kids consider it a kick off to the summer!!!
