Mothers Day

Mother’s Day this year was celebrated with just one child. Mary Dalton came down with strep throat and the flu the week before… And Jackson woke up with it on Mother’s Day. He was down for the count but we went on to church and had a great day.

I am so thankful for this man… I’m also super thankful that he shaved this awful beard off this week! 😂

I wanted to be a mom on my whole life. My dream was to have a girl first and then a little boy. God went above and beyond when he gave me my two. I will forever be thankful that they are mine. They are by no means perfect, but they’re dang close in my opinion!

We had lunch at Cork and Flame and it was very good! It was unusually cold, but we had a seat on the back deck and we were very comfortable. It was a beautiful day!

And I had to add a picture of Jackson! He went to the doctor on the following Monday and did not go back to school until Thursday. He actually felt bad for a solid eight days. I don’t know how I avoided getting it, not once but twice but I’m so thankful that I didn’t!
