Girls Trip to Natchez

Last Thursday morning I left super early and headed to Birmingham to meet up with my sister.

We headed to Natchez to see my parents and plan Elizabeth’s bridal luncheon. We were so excited when we found a Taco Casa in Tuscaloosa! We grew up eating this and this was a treat for both of us!

12 hours after leaving my house… We arrived at my moms. It was definitely a long travel day but time went by quickly traveling with my sister. We were able to catch up!

We visited with my parents before we had a delicious dinner!

My parents grew all of these vegetables. This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time!

Friday morning we headed out to do some shopping and go to Stanton hall to choose the menu for the luncheon.

I always love to drive by Parkway Baptist. I was born into this church, dedicated here, baptized here, graduated here and got married all in this church. It will always be a special place to me.

After lunch, Elizabeth came down and joined in the fun. We went around downtown and had lunch.

It was great to get to see her and hear all about her upcoming wedding.

I forget how beautiful my hometown is. We went in Saint Mary’s and it just takes my breath away. It is absolutely gorgeous!

Saturday morning we got up and went to a few stores and have lunch before my sister and I are headed back to Birmingham around three. I woke up early Sunday morning and was back home by lunch. It was such a fun trip and we cannot wait for the wedding in November!
