I don’t know how in the world we are already at the end of June! We have been busy and enjoying our summer! Jackson left on June 8 to go to Alaska with Jerry on a fishing trip. I’ve gotten limited pictures… But here is one of the few I have gotten. He still is not home and I cannot wait to hear all about his trip!!!
Mary Dalton and Lydia went to CCMF again this year and had the best time! She sent lots of pictures of course!
Dalton had a conference at Jekyll Island and I went with him. We were so excited to have some time away! We were supposed to leave early Tuesday but wanted up not leaving until around 8 PM. Better late than never.
We stayed at the Jekyll Island Club and it was magnificent. I didn’t even feel like we were in Georgia! The trees, the buildings, the food, everything was perfection!
This week girl drive down and surprised us… Much to her surprise we only had a king size bed so she had to sleep with us. She was so sweet and we enjoyed spending time with her.

And ice cream for dessert! Dalton had to head home after this for an early closing on Friday morning. Mary Dalton spent the night with me and we enjoyed exploring the island.
This place was heavenly. We took a walk and saw so many deer!!!
They had movie night with popcorn so we checked that out.
Friday morning we headed to the sea turtle hospital. She has loveseat turtle since she was a little girl. She was so excited!!!
it was such a fun getaway! Very relaxing and lots of time to read!!!
