School Things

This is been a great start to the school year! I am teaching Mary Dalton chemistry and anatomy this year. I am also her homeroom teacher. I am teaching Jackson AP psychology. I love teaching my kids!

Dalton is currently in Canada for a 14 day mountain goat hunt. I have not heard from him because he is on a horse on some random mountain. He left before Mary Dalton‘s 18th birthday so we had to celebrate a week early. We went to dinner with the Dowdy‘s for an early celebration.

It was a fun night celebrating our girl!

Mary Dalton is still loving her job at Fleurish. They do lives once a week and none of the girls could work a couple of weeks ago so I went and did the live with  her. We had the best time!

We are doing our best to make the school year fun! Last week all of the seniors dressed up and 80s clothes on a random day. Tomorrow they are doing 2000s. They are so much fun and the majority of them participate!

One last picture with his baby before he left for his trip…

Mary Dalton still says Coach Hennessy is her favorite teacher ever. He is now teaching middle school but she still loves him!

The night of her birthday I took some of her friends out for pizza. I’ve said it 1 million times but I’m so thankful for my children’s friends. They are such a sweet group!!!

Emilie, MD’s boss, came too! Mary Dalton absolutely adores her and it was so sweet of her to come eat with us!

Friday at school we did some building with Legos for an AP project. Will and Jackson were a great pair!

It was a fun week and a super busy weekend. The kids are older now so it’s not that big of a deal when Dalton is out of town like it was when they were little… But single parenting is not for the faint of heart! 😉
