Mykonos & Sea Day

I think we would all agree that this was a beautiful port, but our worst day. I’d love to go back just to this city, but again…navigating it was a challenge.
We took a bus from the boat to town. There were ZERO….I mean ZERO taxis. We got there early, too. I think that was 7-3 port of call.

The streets were SO pretty but we were so early nothing was open! We enjoyed walking around and looking.

Slowly things started to open up. They had a very high end shopping district that we enjoyed browsing.

This picture cracks me up. She was OVER it. Our feet were killing us, we weren’t shopping for high end things, we were hot, tired & hungry…a bad combination.

And that friends is where the pics end….our plan was to go have lunch a place and then pay to use their infinity pool. No taxis…so we had to WALK 4 miles to get there. We get there and it is $250 euros to use the pool. We only had about 4 hours to use it so we knew that was a hard pass. MD was over it so we decided to go back to the boat. Yall…we had to WALK 4 more miles back to the boat down streets that curved with no sidewalks. I prayed the whole way. At one point, MD had tears running down her face. IT. WAS. A. TIME.  And not a good one, but something we laugh about now! Kelly & Ellie opted to go eat some lunch and they too had to walk back. On their way back, Kelly fell….cracked her phone, skinned her knee  and sprained her wrist.
We were all thankful for this port to be over with!!!
We took naps by the pool and go dressed for dinner and went to a show.

This was the big farewell party on the ship. It was a glow theme and they went all out! It was so much fun!

The girls stayed out for awhile and Kelly &I CRASHED! It’s hard to keep up with these young girls! ;)
We slept until 11 AM the nest day! It was our day at sea!!! We enjoyed the pool, napping and lots of reading! We also started packing up our things and making sense of our stuff. We had one more port and it was back in Croatia! We were pumped!
