Prom Night and My Ladies Man!!!

Prom at our school was this past Friday night. We have never taken the children to the Grand March because we have always chaperoned and did not have a way to get them back home to the sitter AND because the Grand March begins at 8, and yall know I have those kiddos in bed by then! In years past, we have put them to bed, then left! What an easy night for the sitter, but better yet ~ they never even knew we had left! ;) Ahhh Mommy Tricks!

I must say, that I really do not think that I am too partial, but Thomas Jefferson has some BEAUTIFUL children! I mean, really beautiful children! And as crazy as this sounds, I felt like a proud parent! I taught this Senior class when they were in the 8th grade and now have them again this year...I love being in a small school and REALLY getting to watch the kids grow up!

My two children were sooo excited to see the gym transformed into something so fancy, especially Mary Dalton! ;) When we left, I noticed Jackson was pouting and when I asked him what was wrong he said, "I did not even get to dance with one of those pretty girls!" Oh yeah....we are gonna have our hands full! He LOVES a pretty girl!

The girl in the white is Madison Brett ~ She was out customer at the lemonade stand last week! ;) MD was soooo impressed with the big sequins on her dress! She looks like Barbie and is so sweet and kind! She will graduate this year and is going to be teacher...and a GREAT one she will be! My 2 love her!

Preicous Carlie ~ Love her so much! She kept the kids for me a lot when we lived in town. She ALWAYS has a smile!

Jackson LOVES Chelsey ~ In case you didn't notice! ;) MD hamming it up in the background! Chelsey is one of those girls that no matter WHAT she does, she does it perfectly...academics, singing, acting, sports, etc. She is a doll!
This is Mary Dalton's icon! ha! She even told Dalton's mother if she wanted to be beautiful that she needed to wear blue eye shadow like Alli Cobb! ;) She pretends to be her all the time! ;)
Dalton and a few of my Senior boys ~ Aren't they precious....I'm especially fond of the one in the blue!;) Madison and the kids again ~ Her mom got a GREAT pic of Jax kissing her....will post it when she emails it to me!
Iam so thankful everyone was safe and had a great Prom! And I also am realizing that before I know it I will be sending MD and JD out the door to go to Prom! :( They are both already taking about next year, and JD said he WILL get to dance then! ha!
