Really LOVE your peaches ~ Wanna Shake Your Tree

Yesterday on the way home from the coast, we stopped at a peach orchard. The kids have never picked peaches, but love to eat them, so we thought it would be fun to stop! The peaches were beautiful and smelled soooo good! :) Nothing like a good Georgia peach!

We even ate them in the car! **MDD FINALLY got a booster seat...she is soooo excited!!! Jackson is not happy and can't wait until he weighs enough to get one!

I have found so many good recipes to try this week with the peaches! But!!! This is my all time favorite!!! Enjoy!!!

Peach Cobbler ~

2 cups fresh peaches

1/2 cup sugar

1 stick butter

BATTER:

1 cup sugar

3/4 cup flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

3/4 cup milk

Melt butter in baking dish at 350 degrees. Mix batter and pour into baking dish. Mis sugar and peaches and pour over batter, don't stir. Bake 45 mins or until crust rises and it golden. Serve with ice cream.

**This is a "First Pres" recipe from my sister, but these ladies can COOK! I have not tried this one, but it sounds super easy...my favorite kind of recipe...and I bought the stuff to make it this week! I will let you know how it turns out! :)

Pineapple Chicken ~ by Kara Bailey

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

salt/pepper and paprika to taste

20 oz can of pineapple tidbits, drained

2 T Dijon mustard

Directions: Arrange chicken in slow cooker, sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Set aside. Mix together pineapple and mustard;spread over chicken. Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours. Serves 6 people.
